What are you using for mulch, Jennifer?
I have a use-what-you've-got philosophy about mulch. Wood chips aren't my favorite, but in the case of the picture I included with the post, it's what I had at the time. My all time favorite mulch is good old hay. A little of it goes a long way, it breaks down quickly, adding nutrients back into the soil, and I like the smell, hee hee! Currently all my beds are mulched with chicken pooped hay from cleaning out the coop. Thanks for asking, Mrs. Reece!
